What is our Wobbler Room like?

Our Wobbler Room is where your child will spend much of their day experimenting, exploring and beginning to socialise.

This room is structured at child’s level with many toys for the children to push and pull as they are just starting to walk.

In this room, children begin to experience a little more organized activities in their routine. The teachers in this room carry out a daily circle time during which the children sing songs, listen to stories and learn vocabulary using Flash Cards.

New fine motor activities are introduced including basic jigsaws and colouring. The children also begin experimenting with various materials such as water, sand, foam, glue, jelly, playdough, and more.

Mealtimes become more social in this room as children learn to sit at the table and feed themselves. They also start learning table manners, turn taking and sharing.

Fresh air is essential in our Wobblers’ day to day routine and we avail of our garden as much as possible during the day.

Parents and carers enjoy a continuous and ongoing communication. Together with monthly observations and developmental meetings that ensure meaningful dialogue between home and crèche, we support your child’s day to day development.
